Welcome to Country
Mirnu supports organisations in delivering culturally respectful and appropriate Acknowledgement of Country practices and in facilitating Welcome to Country ceremonies in line with established cultural protocols. We provide guidance, education, and support to ensure organisations understand the significance of these practices, including when and how they should be conducted. Where a Welcome to Country is required, we work closely with local Aboriginal Elders and Traditional Owners to coordinate and facilitate the ceremony, ensuring it is delivered authentically, respectfully, and in accordance with community expectations.

Smoking Ceremonies
Mirnu offers organisations in facilitating culturally appropriate smoking ceremonies by working closely with Aboriginal Elders and Traditional Owners who hold the cultural authority to conduct these ceremonies. We provide guidance on when a smoking ceremony is appropriate, the cultural significance behind it, and how it should be respectfully incorporated into events or organisational practices.
